"I love this crazy, tragic, sometimes almost magic, awful beautiful life." Some days are chaotic, crazy, and loud, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
I'm a wife, mother, teacher, and student. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and dated off and on throughout my college days at NC State. We finally married on April 14 , 2007. The most exciting day of my life with my husband. We lived in the Raleigh, NC area for 2 years before moving home to raise our son in our hometown. Jaxson Ancel is almost 3!! He is full of life and learns something new almost every minute. I have learned alot about myself through him these past 3 years. We adore our little spawn. He is a perfect mix of the both of us.
I am a teacher of the academically gifted. I absolutely love my job. This is my first year teaching in elementary school after 7 years in the middle school. I have had a wonderful year and have enjoyed the change, I'm always up for a change...and a challenge. I have one more year in graduate school and then I will have a Master's in Educational Leadership. I am anxious to see what the future will hold.
Lately, life has changed in many ways. My husband graduated (at the top of his class) and scored a nice job with a company that flies him all over the US each week. This will continue for a year. I miss my best friend and lover when he's traveling. We are making it work and will get through this year together.
I decided to give this whole blogging thing a whirl. This is mostly about my family activities and some educational links that catch my attention.
